My family and I like Christmas. Every year we wait for these holidays. We install some lights around the house and some decorative Christmas as well. My daughter always feels happy; she writes a gifts list for Santa Claus and expects to receive them all. We prepare a party and I cook delicious food for dinner on Christmas Eve. This day we exchange gift with our relatives.
In my country, Venezuela, this is an important holidays. People have a lot of parties before Christmas day: parties at work, parties at friend’s houses, etc. However, on December 24 it is a celebration with our families. Before this day we prepare food together as a family. The traditional Christmas’s food is called “Hallaca”. It is made with corn flour, pork meat and others ingredients but the important thing for this food is that it is cooked over with banana’s leafs.
During the whole month of December, and very especially on New Year’s Eve fireworks lights Venezuela’s sky.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!!

Unfortunately we don't have fireworks here, but there are lots of beautiful Christmas lights.
*You don't need an apostrophe when using a noun as an adjective (Christmas food, banana leaves).
I love christmas!!
