Housework

When I was a child my Mom tough me, my brothers and sisters almost every housework because she always said it was very important for a person to know how to do these things early in life. Our house works were different than the ones for my brothers. My sisters and I learned how to cook, to clean the house, to wipe the furniture, to scrub the dishes, to make our beds, to put the table and to iron my clothes. My brothers learned how to mow the grass, to make their beds, to wax and polish our car and to paint walls.
My favourite housework was to cook and the one I did not like too much was to iron my clothes.

Good use of vocabulary from this unit!

*"When I was a child, my mom taught me..."
